GAZA, Dec. 06 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army carried out extensive demolition operations today, Saturday, in areas east of the Gaza Strip, amid continuous aerial raids and artillery shelling.
Palestinian sources reported Israeli gunfire and artillery shelling east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
They further indicated that Israeli helicopters fired intensely in the eastern part of Khan Younis city.
In Gaza City, Israeli aircraft carried out new aerial raids east of the city, coinciding with continuous artillery shelling in the area.
Israeli artillery shelled the Shuja’iyya and Tuffah neighborhoods in the eastern part of the city.
Moreover, Israeli warships attacked fishing boats in the sea off Khan Younis amidst intense gunfire and shelling.
The occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which came into effect last October 10.
According to official reports, the occupation army has committed 500 violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
