Ben Habtoor: Yemen’s stance firm with resistance; new occupier will face same fate as old one
SANAA, Nov. 30 (YPA) – Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, member of the Supreme Political Council affirmed Yemen’s steadfast solidarity “from its historical capital, Sanaa,” with the axis of resistance, noting that the Yemeni position is firm alongside the peoples confronting occupation and aggression in the region.
In a speech delivered during the official ceremony, extended congratulations to Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Supreme Political Council’s President Mahdi al-Mashat, and the Yemeni people on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of National Independence Day on November 30 (Evacuation Day).
Bin Habtoor praised the sacrifices of the fighters who “defended the homeland and contributed to developing capabilities” that saw missiles reach deep into the “Israeli entity,” considering the occasion a reflection of an extended history of struggle against occupation.
In his speech, Bin Habtoor sharply criticized elements cooperating with Saudi and Emirati forces, deeming these parties to have “abandoned their national honor.”
He cited the historical experience of the departure of the last British soldier from South Yemen on November 30, 1967, asserting that this experience proves that “every occupier is destined to leave,” and expressing his conviction that the “new foreign presence will not last and will depart from Yemeni territories just as the old colonizer departed.”
