GAZA, Nov. 30 (YPA) – The Israeli raids continue across the Gaza Strip in persistent violation of the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on October 10th. The number of martyrs in the war of extermination has exceeded 70,000 due to the continued Israeli violations.
Israeli occupation aircraft launched a fire belt attack on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, and occupation vehicles opened fire northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In Khan Younis, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the eastern part of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Regarding the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip resulting from the suffocating Israeli siege, UN Secretary-General António Guterres called on Saturday for allowing sufficient aid to enter the Strip.
In a message published on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed annually on November 29: “This year’s International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People comes after two years of horrific suffering in the Gaza Strip, and the beginning of a much-needed ceasefire,” Guterres said.
“Survivors are now mourning tens of thousands of friends and relatives who have lost their lives, almost a third of them children, along with thousands of injured. The Strip is witnessing widespread hunger, disease, and trauma, and the rubble of destroyed schools, homes, and hospitals,” he added.
