US accuse Jordanian citizen of smuggling Yemeni citizens to america

SANAA, August 1 (YPA) – The US authorities on Monday afternoon arrested a Jordanian citizen Muayyad al-Dairi on Monday for smuggling a number of Yemenis to the United States across its border with Mexico, the US magazine Town Hall stated on Tuesday.

“Aldairi smuggled six Yemeni citizens across the Mexican border and into the United States,” American assistant attorney general Benczkowski said in a statement. “Alien smuggling puts our national security at risk, and the Criminal Division is dedicated to enforcing our immigration laws and disrupting the flow of illegal aliens into the United State,” The magazine quoted Benczkawski.

Dairie will be transferred to Texas for trial, the magazine stated.
