SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning issued urgent warnings Friday to citizens regarding the expected weather fluctuations over the next 24 hours.
According to the center’s weather bulletin, temperatures are expected to drop significantly during the night and early morning hours in the provinces of Sanaa, Dhamar, Amran, Al-Bayda, Saada, as well as the highlands of Ibb, Al-Dhalea, southern Marib, and western Al-Jawf. Frost (locally known as al-Dareeb) is likely to form in some of these regions.
Cold weather is also expected to affect the mountainous areas of Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, and the plateaus of Shabwa and Hadramout.
The center has advised residents, especially the elderly, children, and those with health conditions, to take necessary precautions as temperatures are expected to drop sharply during the night and early morning hours. Farmers have been urged to take precautions to protect their crops from potential damage.
