GAZA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem accused the Israeli government on Thursday of disrespecting Gaza ceasefire agreement and disregarding its commitments to mediators and guaranteeing nations.
In a statement, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said, “The “Israeli” occupation committed a major massacre in the Gaza Strip, despite the existence of a ceasefire agreement.”
He added, “This behavior reflects a clear disrespect by the occupation government for the mediators and guaranteeing nations, which have failed to prevent the occupation from continuing the war of annihilation on the Gaza Strip.”
Qassem also accused the Israeli occupation of changing markings that define areas Israel still occupies, in violation of the agreed-upon maps, which keeps Israel in control of over 50% of the enclave’s areas.
He called on the parties that signed the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement — particularly Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the United States — to take action to stop the occupation’s aggression and its violations of the ceasefire agreement.
