At least 69,483 Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza

GAZA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – At least 69,483 Palestinians have been killed and 170,706 others wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

The Gaza-based Ministry of Health declared on Sunday in its daily statistical report that the Strip’s hospitals received 17 martyrs in the past 72 hours, including two new fatalities and 15 victims whose bodies were recovered, in addition to three wounded.

“An unknown number of victims remain trapped under the rubble of the destroying buildings and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to the dangerous field conditions,” the report indicated.

According to the report, the number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11, 2023, has reached 266, with 635 wounded and 548 bodies recovered.

In this context, the Palestinian resistance received a list of 1,468 names of prisoners from the Gaza Strip, indicating that the occupation continues to forcibly conceal the names and numbers of other prisoners within its prisons and detention centers, refusing to disclose them to this day, according to a statement issued by Hamas on Sunday.

The World Health Organization announced that more than 900 patients have died in the Gaza Strip as a result of delays in medical evacuations for treatment outside the Strip, due to the ongoing Israeli blockade.

The organization noted that almost 16,500 patients were still awaiting approval to travel for treatment, including 4,000 children in urgent need of medical evacuation.
