Palestinian youth injured during Zionist settlers’ attack in Sinjil, West Bank

RAMALLAH, Nov. 13 (YPA) – A Palestinian youth was injured on Thursday during an attack by Zionist settlers on the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.

Palestinian sources reported that armed Zionist settlers attacked the Khirbet al-Tall area, south of the town, and opened fire on a number of young men in the area, resulting in a young man being shot in the foot. His injury was described as minor.

The Sinjil Municipality said that the settlers carried out an armed attack, firing showers of live bullets at the “People’s Guard Committee”, which is ensuring the protection of the town and its people.

The Municipality added: “This crime comes within the framework of the escalation of attacks by colonialists supported by the occupation army against Palestinian villages and towns, in an attempt to impose a new colonial reality on the ground”.
