Israeli occupation forces launch raids across West Bank, arrest several Palestinians

WEST BANK, Nov. 12 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a series of raids early Wednesday in the occupied West Bank, arresting four young men, beating another, and damaging property during house searches.

Palestinian sources reported that two brothers were arrested after their family home was raided and searched in Halhul, north of Hebron.

In the nearby town of Beit Ummar, the occupation forces arrested another two brothers following a similar operation in their home.

In the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, the occupation army reportedly assaulted a young man during a raid, causing injuries that required hospital treatment.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces reclosed the checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Furik, east of Nablus, early Wednesday after briefly reopening it for a few hours.

The checkpoint had been closed for approximately nine consecutive hours on Tuesday, preventing passage for dozens of residents, including women and children.
