WEST BANK, Nov.11 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces carried out raids early Tuesday across several areas of the occupied West Bank, storming and searching Palestinian homes and ransacking their contents. The raids coincided with a demolition notice delivered to the family of a Palestinian prisoner held in Israeli custody.
Palestinian sources reported that several Israeli military vehicles raided the city of Tubas, as well as the towns of Aqaba to the north and Tammun to the south, in the northern West Bank. The forces began searching citizens’ homes, but no arrests were reported.
According to the same sources, the occupation notified the family of a slain Palestinian youth in the town of Aqaba, north of Tubas, of their intention to demolish a house.
The sources explained that the Israeli army raided the town with several patrols and stormed the two-story home of the family of Ayman Najeh Ghanem, issuing a demolition order.
Earlier, on December 4, 2024, Israeli special forces had detained the same prisoner from the Arab Specialized Hospital in the city of Nablus, after he was transferred there with serious injuries from Tubas.
The sources added that Israeli troops also raided Nablus and the nearby Askar and New Askar refugee camps in the city’s east, in addition to other neighbourhoods in the eastern part of the city. Several Israeli military vehicles stormed the town of Hawara, south of the city of Nablus, early Tuesday morning.
Early today, Israeli raids targeted the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah in the central West Bank, and the Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank. The city of Hebron was also raided, with forces reportedly stationed in the Wadi al-Huriya area.
