Israeli occupation steps up violations of ceasefire in South Lebanon

BEIRUT, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Areas in South Lebanon witnessed a series of “Israeli” ceasefire violations on Saturday consisting of airstrikes and drone attacks targeting both civilian and agricultural areas.

These attacks resulted in two fatalities on the Shebaa – Rashaya Al Wadi road after their vehicle was targeted by an “Israeli” drone. Another drone launched a raid on the city of Bint Jbeil using two guided missiles, and another targeted a vehicle in the town of Barachit.

Lebanese media reported that the attacks caused extensive material damage and included targeting an excavator in the town of Blida, and a drone dropping a bomb on the town of Mays al-Jabal.

Additionally, intensive overflights by “Israeli” drones were recorded over the areas of Nabatiyeh, its vicinity, Markaba, Harouf, Jibshit, Ad-Duweir, and Az-Zarariyah, constituting a clear violation of Lebanese sovereignty.
