GAZA, Nov. 07 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on Thursday condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against the villages and towns in Southern Lebanon, describing the targeting of unarmed civilians as a “new war crime” against the nations’ peoples.
Ali Baraka, a member of the movement’s Political Bureau, announced in a statement full solidarity with Lebanon—its state, people, and resistance—and called for unity in confronting the aggression and stopping the occupation’s crimes.
Baraka stressed that the Israeli occupation “will not succeed in breaking the will of the resistance,” emphasizing that its repeated attacks “reflect a state of deadlock the enemy is currently experiencing.”
Hamas called upon the United Nations and the Arab and Islamic countries to assume their legal, political, and moral responsibilities to stop the aggression and hold its leaders accountable for the crimes committed against civilians and infrastructure in Southern Lebanon, amid escalating Israeli raids and warnings of widening regional confrontation.
