Coalition-affiliated factions’ recruit killed in Mukalla

SHABWA, Nov. 04 (YPA) – A recruit of the so-called Special Security Forces loyal to the coalition was killed on Tuesday in the city of Mukalla, the provincial capital of Hadramout.

A local source affirmed that Ali Talib Omar Bamsatir, 40, was targeted after being shot by one of his armed cousins ​​in the Al-Tala’i neighborhood of the Fawha area.

The source attributed the incident to a family dispute, noting that the perpetrator fled to an unknown location immediately after committing the crime.

The crime sparked outrage and anger among the residents of Mukalla, with growing demands for the coalition-backed local authorities to the to assume their responsibilities and guarantee security and stability for citizens.

This incident comes amid the security chaos plaguing the districts of Hadramout and other areas under the control of coalition-affiliated factions, which have witnessed a steady decline since the collapse of state institutions in early 2016.
