WEST BANK, Nov. 04 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested 12 Palestinians early Tuesday following a series of raids and house searches across the occupied West Bank, during which homes were reportedly ransacked and turned into “military outposts.”
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, detaining five individuals after searching their family homes.
In Nablus city, the occupation forces reportedly raided a home, arrested a young man, and transferred him to an undisclosed location before withdrawing from the area.
Special Israeli forces also entered Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, arresting a young man after searching his family home. Additional arrests were reported in the Al-Masakin Al-Sha‘biyya neighborhood of eastern Nablus.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested a young Palestinian man in Hebron city after raiding and searching his family home, while his brother was subjected to field questioning and held for several hours.
The sources also noted that occupation soldiers searched the home of the young man, ransacking its contents and causing extensive damage before detaining him and withdrawing from the area.
The same sources added that occupation soldiers stormed the city from its eastern entrance and deployed in the Al-Qur’an neighborhood, where they raided a residential building, forcing its residents to leave after converting it into a military barracks.
Local residents reported that a young man was detained near the Old Mosque in central Tulkarm.
In a related development, Israeli occupation forces reportedly converted a home in Qalqilya into a “military outpost” and began interrogating several young men who had been arrested from their homes.
Sources added that family members were evicted from the house, and an elderly Palestinian man in the Kafr Saba neighborhood was severely beaten.
Separately, the occupation forces conducted raids across various parts of the West Bank and demolished a commercial facility in Dura, southwest of Hebron.
