SAADA, Aug. 09 (YPA) – Security authorities in Saada province reported 871 violations by Saudi forces in border areas during the past Hijri year 1447, resulting in 534 civilian casualties, according to a statistical report issued by local security forces.
The report stated that the violations included 559 direct firing incidents by Saudi border guards, which left 92 citizens dead and 117 injured. Additionally, 312 artillery shelling incidents resulted in 40 deaths and 285 injuries, with many reported to be in critical condition.
The report described the data as reflecting a portion of the attacks committed during the declared truce.
