Israeli occupation forces launch raids across West Bank

WEST BABK, Nov. 01 (YPA) –  Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids across different areas of the occupied West Bank early on Saturday, detaining several Palestinians and reportedly seizing cash from residents after storming and ransacking homes.

In Qabatiya, near Jenin, four former prisoners were arrested after Israeli forces stormed and searched their houses. One resident was reportedly beaten, his home ransacked, and around 12,000 shekels ($3,000) taken.

Israeli troops also raided two other homes in the town, destroying their contents before leaving.

In Yabad, southwest of Jenin, three more Palestinians were detained during similar raids. Leaflets warning residents were left on walls before troops withdrew.

Further south, in Al-Faraa refugee camp near Tubas, Israeli occupation forces detained another man and forced a family out of their home before damaging its contents.
