Top US general arrives in “Israel”, flies over Gaza

GAZA, Nov. 01 (YPA) – US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Dan Caine, met with Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and held a discussion with other commanders on “regional developments across all fronts, according to The Times of Israel.

Caine toured the Gaza Strip from a helicopter before visiting the US headquarters of the multinational force overseeing the Israel-Hamas ceasefire in Kiryat Gat, known as the Civil-Military Coordination Center.

Earlier, a US official said Caine had arrived in “Israel” for talks focused on Gaza and was expected to review the work of the Gaza Coordination Center and the latest field developments.
