WEST BANK, Nov. 01 (YPA) – The Hebron Battalion of al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced on Friday evening that its fighters in the Beit Ummar unit had confronted and targeted the Israeli occupation forces that stormed the town, achieving confirmed hits.
“Our fighters in the Beit Ummar unit are confronting the Zionist enemy forces that stormed the town according to field conditions and data, and they have targeted the infantry forces with several anti-personnel explosive devices, achieving confirmed injuries among the enemy forces,” the battalion said In two separate statements.
It added, “Our fighters in the Beit Ummar unit managed to target the enemy reinforcements storming the town with heavy bursts of gunfire, achieving confirmed injuries among the enemy forces.”
The battalion continued: “Our heroes continue to confront the enemy forces storming the town according to field conditions and developments.”
This comes as part of the response by Palestinian resistance factions to of Israeli occupation forces’ attacks against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, in parallel with what they described as a campaign of genocide, starvation, and siege that the enemy has been waging in the Gaza Strip for more than two years.
