Al-Qassam Brigades find body of “Israeli” prisoner in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 28 (YPA) – Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, revealed on Tuesday that the body of an Israeli prisoner had been found in the Gaza Strip, confirming that the handover would take place today.

In a statement, the Al-Qassam Brigades explained that it intends to hand over the body of one of the occupation prisoners, which was found a short while ago inside a tunnel in the Gaza Strip, at 8:00 PM Gaza time.

A source in the resistance reported that the body of the Israeli, Amiram Cooper, was found inside a tunnel north of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

On Monday, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem stated that the movement had handed over 18 bodies of occupation prisoners in the Gaza Strip, noting that the weakness of field capabilities was hindering the completion of the recovery operations for the remaining bodies.
