CAIRO, Oct. 25 (YPA) – Magdi Ibrahim El-Sayes, a prominent leader in the Egyptian Nasserist movement, has stated that Yemen has become a pillar of Arab national security, asserting that the military and political support provided by Sanaa to Gaza constitutes a “turning point in the conflict with the Zionist entity.”

In an interview with “Arab Journal,” El-Sayes described Yemen’s “support for Gaza” as a “strategic move that restored balance to the Arab-Zionist equation.”
The Egyptian politician indicated that Yemen, despite its limited capabilities and the siege, presented an “astonishing model of resilience and military and political effectiveness.”
El-Sayes also emphasized that the Yemeni military presence in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait serves as a “guarantee for the security of Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and all riparian states,” as it reduces foreign influence over vital global waterways.
He concluded by affirming that Yemen has “restored the compass of Arabism” and “protects the Arab domain from infiltration.”
