“Nestlé” faces financial crisis after boycott over its support for “Israel”

BERN, Oct. 17 (YPA) – The Swiss giant company “Nestlé” has announced that it would lay off 16,000 employees worldwide, in light of the financial crisis it is facing, which is partly attributed to global boycott campaigns against it due to its alleged support for the Israeli occupation.

A statement issued by the company reported that the reduction plan includes 12,000 administrative employees in offices, in addition to 4,000 workers in the production and supply chain departments.

These measures aim to achieve annual savings of up to one billion Swiss francs (about $1.25 billion USD).

Nestlé, known for its famous brands such as Nescafé, KitKat, and Purina, faces increasing pressure from popular and human rights campaigns that have called for its boycott, accusing it of providing direct and indirect support to “Israel” during its aggression against the Palestinians.
