On second anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood, Al-Mashat calls for unified Arab ranks to deter “Israel”
SANAA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – President of Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, affirmed that Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa represented a legitimate response to decades of Zionist oppression, crimes, and the killing of the Palestinian people.
This came during his speech to mark the second anniversary of Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa that’s carried out by the Palestinian resistance on Oct, 07, 2023.
“Operation Flood embodies the right of self-defense guaranteed by all laws and religions, representing a historic declaration of the victory of the will of a people who refused to be buried alive and proved their right to and adherence to their land and holy sites,” he added.
Al-Mashat clarified that the Flood of Al-Aqsa represented also a strategic change in the Palestinian landscape and a turning point in the conflict with the Zionist enemy.
Mr. President stated that the operation of October 7 came to thwart the projects of Judaizing Al Quds city and liquidating the cause, in addition to obstruct the path to normalization and prove to the world that the Palestinian cause will not die as long as it contains mujahideen.
“On October 7, the Palestinians regained their dignity and, through their heroism, shattered the myth of the so-called invincible army, exposing the weakness of its intelligence, Al-Mashat explained.
He reiterated that confronting the Zionist enemy is not just one option, but the only way to reclaim rights from an occupier who understands only the language of force.
President Al-Mashat noted that the Palestinian resistance has, over the past two years, forged a new legend of patience and steadfastness, depicting with the spirits of the Palestinian people the greatest epics of heroism in modern times.
Mr. Al-Mashat emphasized that Palestine will remain a central issue in the Arab and Islamic conscience, with its roots extending deep into history and conscience, reaffirming Yemen’s principled position in supporting the Palestinian people until the aggression be halted, the siege lifted, and their rights fully achieved.
He also emphasized that unlimited American support at all levels constitutes full participation in the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy entity, emphasizing that the Zionist plan aims to obliterate the Arab and Islamic identity in the Arab region and continues its blatant aggression against Lebanon and Syria. “This will only be deterred by unifying the Arab ranks in confronting it”.
Al-Mashat praised the sacrifices of all the free and honorable people who stood by the oppressed Palestinian people, especially Hezbollah, Iraq, and Iran, who have sealed these positions with their pure blood.
