Over 66,000 Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 02 (YPA) – The death toll of the Palestinians killed of the continuous Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 66,225 martyrs, with 168,938 wounded since October 7,2023, the Gaza-based Ministry of press in the Gaza Strip announced on Thursday.

The ministry’s statement confirmed the 77 bodies of martyrs and 222 injured arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals over the past 24 hours.

” A number of victims are still trapped under the rubble the destroyed buildings and on the roads, where the ambulance and Civil Defense crews are unable to reach them until the moment, the statement said.

Since March 18,2025 to date, 13,357 Palestinians have been killed and 56,897 others injured as a result of the ongoing Israeli attacks.

As for the victims of the livelihood, it explained that the number of those who arrived to hospitals during the past 24 hours mounted two martyrs and 44 wounded, bringing the total number of martyrs who arrived to hospitals to 2,582 martyrs, with more than 18,974 wounded.
