Israeli soldier shot dead in Gaza’s Jabalia

GAZA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – An Israeli soldier was shot dead on Saturday in the al-Zarqa area south of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Qassam Brigades, the Hamas armed wing announced on Sunday that its fighters had successfully targeted and killed the soldier south of Jabalia.

This development came amid ongoing violent clashes on several fronts in the northern and eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, where the resistance factions said they were continuing their operations against the advancing Israeli occupation forces, while the Israeli army repeatedly announced casualties among its own troops during the current battles.
