‘Our combat readiness to respond to any aggression is at highest level’: IRGC

TEHRAN, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) affirmed on Sunday that the highest level combat readiness, strategic planning, intelligence capabilities, and land, sea, air, missile, and cyber defense systems to any confrontation.

“If the enemy makes any further mistakes or commits any act of aggression, Iran will respond decisively and make it a lesson for others,” IRGC said in a statement issued on the occasion of “Holy Defense Week, warning the Israeli enemy and the US administration against taking any action against Iran’s interests, national security, or territorial sovereignty.”

It added that the recent aggression on Iran has demonstrated the capabilities of the armed forces, even under the most difficult circumstances of economic sanctions and the multifaceted pressures exerted by the enemy in various sectors.

The statement pointed out that the Iranian armed forces, relying on local knowledge and capabilities, had achieved a level of self-sufficiency, growth, and deterrence in both the military and defense sectors.

“Iran was able to fight against the armies of advanced nations, achieving victory, and thwarting the enemy’s plans,” it added.
