Israeli occupation invades Gaza with “scorched earth” brutality after 711 days of resilience

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 16 (YPA) – The events of the brutal aggression on Gaza Strip reveal a true face tied to an extremist ideological doctrine. This doctrine guides the military war toward what it calls “the sacred commandment,” justifying total extermination.

Since its inception, the Israeli occupation entity has based its movement on alleged Talmudic myths like “the promised land” and “the chosen people.” In this latest aggression, the term “Milhemet Shi’i” (war of extermination) has surfaced, referring to what is written in the distorted Torah about the extermination of the inhabitants of Jericho. This provides a religious pretext to justify massacres and forced displacement.

The Zionist aggression is not limited to targeting people and infrastructure; it also extends to Islamic and Christian holy sites. Under the pretext of “purifying the land,” mosques and churches are targeted, based on Talmudic texts that claim “there is no flag for the Temple until the temple of the gentiles is gone.” This dangerous ideology transforms the war into a campaign of total extermination, where Palestinians become mere “goyim” (gentiles) whose blood, wealth, and land can be violated without hesitation.

The Scandal of Ethnic Cleansing in Numbers and Facts

On the 711th day of the war on Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the start of a military operation in Gaza City, describing it as a turning point. This announcement coincided with an intensified Israeli bombing of residential neighborhoods and shelters for displaced people, which led to the martyrdom of 68 Palestinians in Gaza City alone, according to medical sources.

The Israeli Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, stated that military operations are advancing into the heart of Gaza City, which he considered a vital area for Hamas and necessary to achieve the goal of returning the prisoners. In turn, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced that they had targeted an Israeli armored personnel carrier at the end of July in the western Al-Satar area of Khan Yunis.

The intense raids resulted in massive waves of displacement from Gaza City toward the south. An airstrike targeted a home in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, causing casualties. Other raids targeted buildings in northern Khan Yunis in the south of the strip, and a raid on the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood resulted in four martyrs and several injured.

The reality of Gaza remains a testament to the fact that the Israeli occupation fears no accountability, thanks to the blind support of the United States and the systematic abandonment by Arab and Islamic regimes. The actions of the Israeli occupation are no longer mere violations; they have turned into a blatant and arrogant rampage, internationally supported, that makes crimes against humanity an official policy. This policy finds cover in American support and the complicity of Arab and Islamic regimes, which grants the occupation immunity from any accountability.

The current reality of Gaza shows that the Zionist occupation is not waging a military war, but a systematic ethnic cleansing campaign. The numbers do not lie, as the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of casualties has risen to 64,964 martyrs and 165,312 injured since the start of the war on October 7, 2023. The ground invasion of Gaza City, announced by the occupation, confirms the intention to empty the city of its inhabitants, in complete disregard for the hundreds of thousands of civilians who have no other safe place to go.

Facts and Justifications

Amid the escalating field developments in the Gaza Strip, new dimensions of the aggression waged by the Israeli occupation army are being revealed, as the facts on the ground intertwine with international diplomatic moves to form a complex and comprehensive picture of the current situation. Concurrently with the Israeli Minister of War’s declaration that Gaza “is burning,” the United Nations issued an unprecedented resolution confirming that the Israeli entity has committed a crime of genocide, the strongest resolution issued by a UN body so far.

In light of the worsening humanitarian conditions, UN experts appealed to the international community for urgent action to stop the “genocide and famine” in Gaza, warning of the catastrophic impact of the attack on Gaza City on civilians. Field facts show that the ground attack is not limited to military confrontations but includes a systematic strategy of destroying civilian infrastructure.

According to field testimonies and local residents, the Israeli army is destroying the city’s “lifelines,” such as solar panels and phone charging stations, with the aim of forcing civilians into forced displacement by making life impossible. This confirms that the goal is to erase the means of survival, not just to fight.

Targeting schools that have become shelters is another step in this approach. These schools are no longer just shelters; they have become vital points that provide power to surrounding residential buildings and offer drinking water. With the issuance of evacuation orders for these schools and their bombing, hundreds of thousands of displaced people are being pushed into a state of repeated homelessness, as they are forced to move again to already overcrowded places, which increases their suffering.

This destructive strategy finds its justification in the ideological doctrine based on distorted Talmudic texts, which are employed to mobilize soldiers and make the war a “divine commandment” that knows no mercy.

The American Cover

American support, represented by the actions of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, serves as a green light for the continuation of these crimes, especially with Rubio’s disregard for the decisions of countries that recognized the Palestinian state, such as Norway, Spain, and Ireland. His description of these steps as “largely symbolic” and encouraging to Hamas confirms that Washington still sees the military solution as serving its interests and the interests of the occupation, and that it does not care about aggressive practices but rather supports them.

Similarly, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, discussed the Israeli attack on Doha and the war on Gaza with an American official. The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid Al Ansari, stated that negotiations do not seem realistic at the moment, pointing out that Netanyahu seeks to assassinate negotiators and bomb mediating countries.

British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said that the Israeli attack on Gaza is reckless and extremely horrific, stressing that it will lead to the death of more innocent civilians and endanger prisoners.

Despite warnings from the British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs that expanding Israel’s operation would erase hope for the prisoners and increase the misery of Gaza’s residents, Israeli Minister of War, Yisrael Katz, threatened to destroy Gaza City if Hamas does not release the prisoners and surrender its weapons, emphasizing the need to act forcefully to protect Israeli soldiers.

At the same time, an investigation committee affiliated with the United Nations announced that the Israeli entity is guilty of the crime of genocide. Rubio described this entity as striking Gaza with an “iron fist,” in a reference to strength and solidity. Rubio also openly supported the ground attack on the city.

Fragility of the Arab Stance

In the face of this tragedy, the reality reflects an Arab and Islamic stance described as submissive and surrendering, as if the matter does not threaten the existence of the nation. Although the Israeli attack directly targeted an Arab capital, Doha, the official reaction was weak and indecisive.

The Doha summit revealed a clear inability, as the leaders’ decisions did not exceed the limits of weak statements and condemnation speeches. Instead of taking decisive steps such as severing relations or imposing economic sanctions, the leaders confined themselves to “reminding” themselves of the need to respond and placing responsibility on the international community. This shows the inability of the regimes to face challenges on their own.

The official Arab and Islamic position reveals an unjustifiable abandonment, especially after the blatant Israeli attack on the Qatari capital, Doha. This attack, which targeted Hamas leaders, was a slap in the face to every Arab capital, but the official response did not rise to the level of the threat.

The Doha summit, which was supposed to be a turning point, turned into a stage for showcasing inability. Instead of activating joint defense mechanisms or taking decisive decisions such as severing relations or imposing sanctions, the leaders sufficed with issuing “weak” statements and “pleading for international pity” speeches. This position reinforces the belief that Arab regimes have voluntarily surrendered themselves to the occupation, and allowed it to plant its daggers in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula.

This submission has made the Zionist occupation more arrogant, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shamelessly announced that he “does not rule out launching more strikes on Hamas leaders wherever they are,” which is a clear challenge to the sovereignty of Arab countries. This weakness does not come from a vacuum; rather, it is the result of decades of hesitation and concession, which has made Arab and Muslim leaders mere “horns of complaint.”

There is a discrepancy between words and actions, as the summit speeches show an inability to stand up to the arrogance of the occupation authorities. While the leaders were issuing condemnation statements, the Israeli Prime Minister openly declared his intention to launch more attacks in a blatant challenge to the sovereignty of states. This failed position is the result of decades of hesitation and concession, which has made the leaders, in the eyes of their people, mere “horns of complaint” who do not have the ability to make a difference.

While Arab defensive mechanisms like “Peninsula Shield” are used in the wrong place, the coast remains open to enemies. This confirms that verbal condemnation will not stop missiles and that relying on Washington’s promises will not bring security, especially since America, according to President Trump, “affirms before all that Israel has the right to act in the region as it wishes, and America will never abandon it.” The reality shows clearly that these regimes have voluntarily chosen to hand over their destiny, leaving the region vulnerable to the ambitions of the occupation authorities, while their allies suffice with words of disavowal and abandonment.
