Thousands rally in Berlin against Israeli genocide in Gaza

BERLIN, Sept. 14 (YPA) – Thousands of people rallied in central Berlin on Saturday to protest the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza, demanding an immediate end to the military offensive and German arms deliveries to “Israel.”

The protest was organized by a coalition that includes German politician Sahra Wagenknecht, leader and founder of the “Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance” party, along with actor Dieter Hallervorden and rapper Massiv.

The demonstrators voiced strong opposition to Israel’s ongoing military campaign in the besieged Gaza Strip, which has been facing a severe hunger crisis for several months.

Participants waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans such as “Free Palestine,” while holding signs demanding for peace and diplomatic solutions rather than ongoing arms deliveries.

Protesters also called on the German government to halt all arms exports to “Israel,” criticizing Berlin’s continued support amid widespread civilian casualties and destruction in Gaza.

They called on the federal government to push for peace talks and a two-state solution in the Middle East.
