5 Palestinians killed, others injured in Israeli strikes on Gaza, Khan Younis

GAZA, Sept. 14 (YPA) – Five Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in a series of Israeli occupation airstrikes on the cities of Khan Younis and Gaza on Saturday evening, according to the Palestinian news agency “WAFA.”

The agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces targeted a gathering of civilians on Al-Turans Street in the Al-Amal neighborhood, north of Khan Younis, killing three people and injuring others.

In Gaza City, two more citizens were killed in two separate Israeli bombings that hit a house near the Tamraz station on Al-Jalaa Street and another house east of the Askoula intersection in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

An Israeli airstrike also wounded a number of civilians after it targeted the Al-Sharif family’s home on Hamid Street in western Gaza City.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of more than 64,803 Palestinians and the injury of 164,264 others, while thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble, unable to be reached by rescue teams.
