Zionist military spy visits Yemen’s Dhalea front under UAE-backed factions’ protection

DHALEA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Local media sources have revealed that Israeli military journalist ‘Jonathan Spyer’ made a secret visit to the front lines in Dhalea province of southern Yemen, protected by armed factions supported by the UAE.

Local media outlets loyal to the Saudi-led coalition reported that Spyer, a former Israeli soldier and military analyst, visited Aden and several military fronts bordering Sanaa forces in Dhalea as part of a so-called “media delegation.” During the visit, Spyer met with several military leaders loyal to the UAE, a move that has raised strong suspicions about the nature of his mission.

According to the reports, Spyer, who previously made similar visits to fronts in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon, is suspected of working for Israel’s “Mossad” intelligence agency with the goal of establishing spy cells.

During his meeting in Aden with the commander of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s joint forces, the commander reportedly presented Spyer with a list of the factions’ military needs. The list included “light and heavy weapons, air defense systems, reconnaissance drones, and night vision devices,” with the aim of securing Israeli and American support to “liberate Sanaa” and eliminate “the Houthis.”

Spyer was able to take photos of military sites and the front lines with Sanaa forces in Dhalea. Neither the Southern Transitional Council nor the pro-coalition government in Aden has issued any official statement to confirm or deny the information.
