Two explosions rock Aden’s Sheikh Othman district

ADEN, Sept. 09 (YPA) – Two explosions have shaken the Sheikh Othman district of Aden, a city in southern Yemen under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

Local sources in the city reported that unknown assailants targeted the home of a citizen, Saleh al-Sali, with two hand grenades on Monday evening. His house is located next to the al-Memdara police station. The blasts caused panic and terror among residents.

The sources added that al-Memdara police officers fired a barrage of shots into the air after hearing the explosions, while the attackers managed to flee to an unknown location.

According to the sources, the attack on al-Sali’s home did not result in any significant human or material damage, and the identity of the group behind the incident remains unknown.
