Sayyed Al-Houthi warns of dangerous plot against nation, region, addresses a call to “People of the Book”
SANAA, Sept. 04 (YPA) – In a historic live address to massive crowds in Sanaa and other Yemeni cities celebrating the Prophet’s Birthday anniversary, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi declared that Islam is a project for the victory of a nation guided by its light.
He noted that all forces that fought Islam have been “defeated and failed despite their immense material and military capabilities, and their cunning, cleverness, and deception, like the Jews.”
Al-Houthi pointed out that the Prophet’s Birthday anniversary celebration comes at the end of the second year of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which is supported and partnered by the US. He described the ongoing aggression as the “crime of the century and a shameful disgrace for the apathetic.”
He said that “the problem of Muslims is turning away from the Holy Quran and from the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad,” noting that the Quran “revealed the corrupting role of the criminal Jews and their inevitable end through God’s will to have His servants overpower them.”
Al-Houthi explained that some are not aware of the dangers of their inaction, while others collude with the Israeli enemy. He stated that the oppression of the Palestinian people has exposed the terrible decline in humanity, morals, and religion that the Islamic nation has reached, as well as the impact of a soft, satanic war.
He stressed that the enemy’s plot does not stop at Palestine, with its major criminals openly talking about their plan to target the region under the titles of “changing the Middle East” and “Greater Israel.” He warned that the terrible danger for the nation is to continue in this perilous situation, which contradicts its principles and leads to ruin. “The path to salvation is not through continued apathy but through the responsibility of jihad to repel the danger of the Jews and their corruption.”
Al-Houthi wondered why the nation does not try to return to the guidance of the Quran and the Prophet, confirming that “there is no salvation from the other Jahiliyyah (era of ignorance) except with the light of God that brought humanity out of the first Jahiliyyah.”
He concluded his speech by calling on the people of the Book throughout the world with God’s call: “Say, ‘O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you — that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah.’ But if they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims.'”
Millions of Yemenis gathered in Sanaa and other cities in a magnificent scene celebrating the Prophet’s Birthday, showcasing a unique display of faith that embodies the deep spiritual connection of the Ansar (supporters) to the great Prophet.
Al-Houthi described the celebrations as “unparalleled on Earth,” emphasizing a firm popular identity rooted in faith and the wisdom for which the Prophet praised the people of Yemen.
