Sanaa’s Defense Minister, Chief of Staff: Yemen is fighting a “fateful battle”

SANAA, Sept. 04 (YPA) – The Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff in the Sanaa government, Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi and Major General Mohammed Al-Ghamari, on Thursday affirmed that the current phase is a “fateful battle” between right and wrong, not just a passing challenge.

This clarification came in a joint letter the two ministers addressed to Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi and the President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday anniversary.

In the letter, they revealed that the coming days would witness “surprises that will tip the balance of power in the region,” emphasizing that the era of American and Zionist hegemony over the destinies of nations has passed, never to return.

The two officials added that “the Yemeni armed forces will stand firm in the face of challenges and will prove to the world their ability to achieve victory,” indicating that the hands of the faithful people of Yemen will inflict “the greatest pain” on the enemies.

They also noted that the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a constitution for jihad and sacrifice, and that they have prepared an army that knows no hesitation to confront any aggression.

The letter reiterated Yemen’s unwavering stance on the issues of the nation and its support for Gaza, affirming that “the blood of the martyrs will not be in vain and that the enemies are facing a generation raised on the love of martyrdom.”
