Meeting chaired by Industry Minister discusses Cement Industry, Marketing Est. status

SANAA, July 29 (YPA) – A meeting was held on Sunday in Yemen General Establishment for Cement Industry and Marketing under the chairmanship of Industry and Trade Minister, Abdulwahab Yahya Al-Durra.
The meeting, attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Qassim Abdullah Al-Wadai and members of it, discussed aspects related to the course of the institution and the marketing of its products.
The meeting reviewed the difficulties faced by the cement factories in Barah, Amran and Bagal and arranged the conditions of the labor force, especially the Amran Cement Factory, which stopped working.
In the meeting, Al-Durra stressed on the importance of expanding the Project of Bagel Factory and launching the work in the coming months to meet the needs of the market.
In his part, Al-Wadai reviewed the difficulties facing the re-operation of the Bagel Factory and the efforts made in coordination with the United Nations to restore the cement production line in the factory.
