Sanaa Condemns UAE’s Demagogic practices In Occupied Socotra Island
SANAA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – A meeting held in the capital Sanaa on Sunday and headed by Prime Minster Abd Al-Aziz bin Habtor strongly condemned the demagogic practices currently committed by the occupying UAE state in Socotra island, according to Saba News Agency.
SANAA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – A meeting held in the capital Sanaa on Sunday and headed by Prime Minster Abd Al-Aziz bin Habtor strongly condemned the demagogic practices currently committed by the occupying UAE state in Socotra island, according to Saba News Agency.
The meeting condemned the looting of the island’s natural resources and destroying its environmental variety by the occupying UAE state, in an attempt to change its demographic situation and to control the international trade route passing through Bab al-Mandab and the Strait of Hormuz.
The meeting appealed UNISCO to intervene to protect the natural diversity of the island, which has been included in the list of globally protected islands for containing rare trees and plants.
