5 Palestinian citizens died due to famine during past 24 hours

GAZA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – Five Palestinian citizens died, on Monday, including two children, during the past 24 hours due to malnutrition and famine in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources announced, according to medical sources.

The sources indicated that the total number of victims of famine and malnutrition in the Strip has risen to 263 martyrs, including 112 children.

It is noteworthy that the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, in light of the blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies, as the severe famine overlaps with a war of genocide waged by the Israeli occupation since October 7, 2023.
