ADEN, July 21 (YPA) – Citizens from the northern governorates described what they are exposed to when obtaining passports from the coalition-controlled Aden governorate as racism, looting, and brokerage.
The citizens said that they agree with bus owners to travel and obtain passports on the condition that they pay 500 Saudi riyals. Once they arrive at the passport building, they leave them, forcing them to complete the passport process on their own, only to fall into the hands of other brokers who demand payments of up to 200-500 riyals for the passport.
The citizens explained that despite everything they pay, more than a month passes without receiving their passports, and that the brokers demand a payment of 200 Saudi riyals to print the passport.
