QUDS, July 21 (YPA) – Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday morning under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces, according to the Islamic Department in occupied al-Quds city (Jerusalem), citing local sources.
The sources reported that the settlers entered the mosque in groups through Al-Magharba Gate, conducted provocative tours in its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals
During the incursion, they were given explanations about the so-called “Temple Mount,” a term used by Jewish groups to refer to the site.
Meanwhile, the occupation police forces imposed strict restrictions on Palestinian worshippers, checking their ID at the gates and preventing many from entering the mosque.
Al- Aqsa continues to face daily settler incursions under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, in an attempt to change the existing reality and divide it temporally and spatially.
