TAIZ, July 15 (YPA) – The water crisis continued in Taiz Governorate, which is affiliated with the coalition government.
The water crisis has doubled the suffering of the city’s residents, amid difficult economic conditions.
The crisis has caused long queues in front of water stations, reflecting the miserable reality the governorate is experiencing, amid the authorities’ failure to find solutions to end this crisis and others.
According to media, dozens of citizens, including children and the elderly, are lined up, carrying empty gallons in queues stretching for dozens of meters, in front of the water station, hoping to obtain a few liters of water.
It is noteworthy that Taiz has been suffering for years from a severe deterioration in the infrastructure of basic services, most notably water and sanitation.
