“ASPIDES Force” raises risk assessment to “critical” for Israel-linked ships in Red Sea

ATHENS, July 10 (YPA) – The “ASPIDES Force” has raised the risk assessment level to “critical” for ships linked to “Israel” in the Red Sea, following the success of Yemeni military operations against ships that violated the ban on entry to ports in the occupied Palestine, the Greek official news agency said.

In a related context, the Greek newspaper Efsyn reported in an extensive report that Piraeus port workers have taken a clear stance by refusing to receive or unload any ships carrying military equipment bound for “Israel.”

This decision came after an emergency meeting of representatives of five major labor unions within the port authority, where they issued a joint statement expressing their absolute refusal to cooperate in facilitating the passage of military shipments destined for the Israeli occupation entity.

The unions indicated their readiness to carry out protests and large-scale strikes if any attempt is made to bypass or circumvent this decision.

This step reflects a tangible escalation in the positions of European labor and popular forces, who reject participation or complicity in the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip.
