Death toll from Israeli genocide in Gaza rises to 56,331

GAZA, June 27 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Friday that Israeli occupation forces killed at least 72 Palestinians and wounded 174 others in the past 24 hours.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation forces targeted civilians waiting for humanitarian aid at distribution centers run by an American company early Friday morning, resulting in multiple casualties north of Rafah city in southern Gaza.

The ministry explained in its daily statistical report that since the occupation reneged on the ceasefire agreement on March 18, approximately 6,008 people have been martyred and around 20,591 injured.

According to the report, the death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 56,331 while the number of wounded has reached 132,632 since October 7, 2023.

The ministry added that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews.
