‘Punishment against Netanyahu to continue with force’: Iran top commander

TEHRAN, June 23 (YPA) – Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Maj. Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi, said that the punishment directed at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would continue with force until he becomes incapacitated.

In a fiery statement reflecting Tehran’s firm stance, he stressed that Iran would not allow the US violation of its territory to go unanswered.

, Maj. Gen. Mousavi noted that US President Donald Trump violated international law when he entered the holy lands and attacked three locations inside Iran, causing clear damage.

Mousavi added that the US escalation came in a desperate attempt to save his proxy in the region, “Israel”, and especially Netanyahu.

“Trump saw signs of Netanyahu’s failure and weakness, so he rushed to provide him with artificial respiration through this aggression,” he clarified, describing what happened as “a grave mistake, the consequences of which Iran has repeatedly warned of.”

Mousavi went on to say, “We do not forget or tolerate any attack on our sovereignty.” We will continue to punish Netanyahu, and we will respond to the American action in proportion to the severity of the violation.”

He expressed his deep gratitude to the Iranian people, who shows its solidarity and unlimited support for its armed forces represent the source of the true strength.
