Saudi forces renew attacks on Yemen’s border areas

SAADA, June 23 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia renewed its attacks on populated border areas in northern Yemen on Monday.

A security source in Saada province, northern Yemen, reported that residential areas in the border district of Sheda were subjected to Saudi artillery shelling, causing property damage.

No civilian casualties have been reported at the time of writing.

It is worth noting that this attack is part of a series of repeated attacks carried out by Saudi forces on border areas since the start of the Saudi-led coalition-led war on Yemen in 2015. These attacks have claimed the lives of dozens of civilians amid the continued delay in implementing the peace understandings between Sanaa and Riyadh.
