Iran accuses IAEA of participating in Israeli aggression

THRAN, June 19 (YPA) – Tehran accused the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Thursday of being a “partner” in the Israeli aggression on the country.

“You have made the IAEA a partner in this unjust aggressive war,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei told IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.

Grossi confirmed last Monday that there were “no indications of an attack” on the lower facility of Iran’s Natanz uranium enrichment site, following Israeli strikes that destroyed the above-ground section.

“There are no indications of a concrete attack on the underground cascade hall for uranium enrichment centrifuges, which houses part of the pilot enrichment plant and the main enrichment plant,” Grossi said during an emergency meeting of the IAEA’s Board of Governors.

He stressed that he was ready to head immediately to Iran, where IAEA inspectors are located.
