Iran launches missiles on “Israel”
TEHRAN, June 19 (YPA) -Iranian state television reported that, at dawn on Thursday, Iran launched heavy, long-range missiles toward the Israeli occupation entity, marking the start of the 13th wave of Operation “True Promise 3.”
The Exchange Ramat Gan building has been apparently targeted in eastern part of the municipality of Tel Aviv, according the Iranian media
Meanwhile, Israel’s Channel 12 reported 26 individuals were hospitalized at Wolfson, Beilinson, Sheba (Tel Hashomer), and Ichilov hospitals as a result of the missile strikes, including two in critical condition.
There are concerns that individuals may still be trapped at the impact site in Gush Dan.
Israel’s emergency medical service, Magen David Adom, stated that search and rescue operations are underway at seven different sites affected by the missile strikes.
Sirens were triggered across Tel Aviv, central Israel, the north, and as far south as the Negev following the launch of approximately 20 missiles reportedly aimed at Haifa and Beersheba, according to Hebrew media.
Hebrew press described the attack as “the most extensive Iranian missile assault on “Israel” in recent days.”
Simultaneously, Hebrew media shared videos of missile impact in central Israel. Sirens were also sounded in Afula and the southwest area of the Sea of Galilee due to the detection of unmanned aerial vehicles.
A building near Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba, which had been treating wounded soldiers from the Gaza front, collapsed completely, according to Israeli media reports.
Channel 12’s correspondent quoted a spokesperson for Soroka Hospital saying the facility had sustained “severe damage” and urged the public not to come, as it is now out of service.
Hebrew media outlets also reported the full evacuation of Soroka Hospital due to the leakage of hazardous materials.
Last night, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it had launched “very heavy, long-range ballistic missiles” in two phases toward the Israeli occupation, initiating the 12th wave of Operation “True Promise 3.” The wave included the firing of Sejjil ballistic missiles, according to the statement.
