NEW YORK, June 16 (YPA) – The UN Security Council is set to hold a closed consultation session today, Monday, under the item “Protection of Civilians in Armed Conflict” to discuss food insecurity in Gaza.
Members are expected to hear a briefing from Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Joyce Msuya.
The Council will also hold a separate consultation session in the evening on the humanitarian situation in Sudan.
