OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 15 (YPA) -Iran launched a fresh barrage of missiles and kamikaze drones in the early hours of Sunday, targeting central areas of the occupied Palestinian territories, specifically Tel Aviv, as part of its continued response to the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic for the third consecutive day.
The Iranian attacks reportedly resulted in casualties, with numerous individuals still missing.
According to Israeli media, a high-rise building in a central Israeli city sustained significant damage.
In Tel Aviv and Bat Yam, located to the south of the city, multiple buildings were heavily damaged and fires broke out as a result of the Iranian missiles.
Israeli outlets reported that one missile strike in Bat Yam caused massive destruction, demolishing an entire street and completely leveling several homes. At least 35 people are currently unaccounted for in the area.
The Zionist mayor of Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv, confirmed that 61 buildings were damaged in the Iranian attack, including six that were completely destroyed.
Reports indicate that over 20 individuals remain missing beneath the rubble of a structure that suffered a direct missile hit.
In response, occupation authorities have been forced to establish a temporary identification center among the ruins to locate and identify the missing.
Even Israeli media outlets have acknowledged the unprecedented impact of the Iranian retaliation.

Additional strikes targeted Rishon LeZion and Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv, as well as the settlement of Modi’in near occupied Jerusalem.
In Haifa, several buildings were also damaged by Iranian missile fire, according to Israeli fire and rescue services.
Following the strikes, widespread power outages were reported in a number of Israeli settlements, reflecting the effectiveness of the operation in disrupting the enemy’s infrastructure.
According to Iran’s Fars News Agency, some of the missiles fired at Tel Aviv overnight carried warheads weighing as much as 1.5 tons.
