Iran’s air defenses shoot down Israeli warplanes

TEHRAN, June 13 (YPA) – Iran’s armed forces declared on Friday that its air defense had shot down two Israeli warplanes.

Tasnim International News Agency reported: According to reports, one of the pilots, a woman, was captured after one of the planes was shot down.

The operation was considered a remarkable success for Iran’s air defense capabilities in confronting Israeli aggression and a confirmation of the Iranian forces’ readiness to confront any threat targeting the sovereignty of Iran.
