ALQUDS, June 04 (YPA) – About 10 Palestinian citizens were injured on Wednesday in a large-scale attack that the Zionist settlers waged on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah.
The official Palestinian News Agency reported that dozens of settlers attacked homes in the town of Deir Dibwan, burning three houses, as well as several vehicles and horse and sheep pens.
The agency said that the settlers besieged Palestinian citizens inside their homes and prevented young men, ambulances, and fire trucks from reaching the area.
They also threw stones at vehicles passing by on the main street adjacent to the town.
Ten citizens were injured, two of whom were taken to the hospital, while the rest received treatment at a medical center in the town.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its crews treated two injuries resulting from physical assault during the settlers’ attack on the town of Deir Dibwan.
The agency affirmed that Zionist settlers from the outpost built on lands in the towns of Deir Dibwan and Burqa also attacked homes and property belonging to citizens in the neighboring village of Beitin, attempting to set fire to several of them. While the Israeli enemy forces, which provided protection for the settlers, closed the entrance to the town, preventing residents from leaving or entering it.
