BERLIN, June 05 (YPA) – German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul was subjected on Wednesday to a protest by a female supporter of the Palestinian cause inside the German parliament.
This occurred during his participation in a session of the German parliament during which he answered questions from MPs.
While Minister Wadephul was answering a question about the situation in Gaza, a woman in the audience in the visitors’ gallery shouted, “Your hands are stained with blood” and “Freedom for Palestine.”
Subsequently, the protesting woman was forcibly removed from the hall by parliamentary security personnel.
Separately, German Left Party MP Cansin Köktürk was forced to leave the General Assembly hall on the orders of German Parliament President Julia Klöckne because she was wearing a T-shirt with the word “Palestine” printed on it.
