Palestinian journalist killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza City

GAZA, June 01 (YPA) – Palestinian journalist Youssef Al-Nakhalah was killed on Saturday when Israeli occupation forces bombed his family’s home in Gaza City.

Palestinian sources reported that Youssef Al-Nakhala, a satellite broadcast engineer, was killed when an Israeli strike hit his family home in Gaza City.

Over the past 24 hours, Israeli occupation forces have targeted dozens of residential homes and buildings in aerial bombardments, leading to the destruction of entire structures and the martyrdom of scores of civilians, with hundreds more injured—most of them women and children.

With the killing of journalist Al-Nakhalah, the number of media workers martyred in ongoing Israeli aggression since October 2023 has risen to 221.
